The Big Night Bathe was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 1981 Cannes Film Festival.

Friends from different generations, with different professions spend their summer vacation together at the sea every year. Everything looks sunny, carefree and happy. They know each other very well and are used to each other. They are so used to it that boredom is inevitable. It is she who pushes them to a dangerous game.
